Foster parents come in all shapes and sizes. Some married, some single. Some parents with children at home, some empty nesters who have raised their families. Foster parents live in cities, suburbs and out in the country. Some provide care for a few days as needed or on weekends, others do it for weeks, months, or even a lifetime. Their common bond is a desire to share their life experiences with kids who need help.
