Family Sexual Abuse Treatment
Family Sexual Abuse Treatment is funded by the Portland Children's Levy.

Family Sexual Abuse Treatment (FSAT) provides specialized, developmentally appropriate individual and group counseling services to approximately 100 sexually abused children and teens each week.  Educational programs and support groups are also provided to non-offending parents and substitute care givers.

  • Clarification between the abused child and offender facilitated by  therapists if clinically indicated

  • Ongoing collaboration with Department of Human Services caseworkers and other professionals

Eligibility & Referrals
Families are self-referred or identified for these services by Department of Human Services Child Welfare caseworkers. Services are provided through Oregon Health Plan, a contract with Department of Human Services Child Welfare and a grant from the Portland Children’s Levy.

Language Capability
Services are provided in English, Spanish and for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
