Crisis Prevention Outreach
Morrison provides on-site, community-based services to children and adolescents with pressing, immediate mental health needs through
its Crisis Prevention Outreach Services. Children and youth participating in this program have urgent emotional and behavioral needs, but do not need emergency crisis services.

Consultation with caseworkers, school district personnel
Linkage from higher levels of care to community mental health providers
Extra outreach efforts are provided in the community to families who appear to have difficulty engaging in conventional mental health services.
Eligibility
Children and youth in Multnomah County with pressing mental health needs regardless of insurance coverage.
Children and youth ages birth to 18 who:
live in Multnomah County
are experiencing difficulty related to their mental health that needs response in the home or community within 48 hours
need risk assessment and linkage to community services and resources to alleviate their mental health needs
need support and linkage to access traditional mental health services
services are available with or without insurance coverage

Services are offered in English and with language interpreters.
